What is Taekwon-Do?

Taekwon-Do is a self-defence martial art that originated in Korea. Originally developed and taught to the Korean armed forces as a form of unarmed combat, taekwondo is now practiced by millions worldwide — men, women, and children of all ages.

The art emphasizes explosive kicking techniques combined with powerful hand techniques and blocking strategies. But taekwondo is much more than physical technique — it is a discipline that develops the whole person.

Our Mission

At Eagle Taekwondo, our mission is to strengthen mind, body, spirit and character through traditional taekwondo training. We believe martial arts education builds confident, respectful, and resilient individuals — and we are committed to providing that experience in a welcoming, family-friendly environment.
